Job Description
Job Title: Inventory AssociateLocation: Kent WA 98032Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)A Shift: Monday- Friday 6am PST - 3:30pm PSTB Shift: Monday- Friday, 3pm PST - 12:30am PSTPrescreen Questions:
- Describe your fulfillment operations experience, specifically inventory counting, receiving experience, and packing experience (Include years of experience and companies where you have done this type of work)
- Do you have ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material experience? Please describe.
- Have you had experience receiving or shipping inventory? Describe any receiving, put-away, picking/kitting, or shipping experience you may have.
- Are you willing to drive a forklift with training?
- Are you able to lift 50ILBs
- Continuous improvement, employees must evaluate/monitor/escalate a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream. Contingent workers must be able to support a root cause analysis and provide details with problem solving skills.
- Proper use of equipment to support role, employees must possess fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts.
- This includes understanding the operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices associated with such machinery.
- Employees must be able to operate any equipment needed to move heavy parts/material throughout the facilities within the sites, including but not limited to electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks and turret-trucks.
- Receive shipments, employees must be able to unload shipments delivered by carriers.
- Inspecting shipments, employee must be able to visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine if it is acceptable according to a standard operating procedure.
- Quality control checks, employees must review requirements for each part number and process according to the standard operating procedure.
- Documenting receipts, employees must be able to use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to completely close out a receipt or work order.
- Data entry, employees must be able to navigate and select fields within an inventory management tool to input data directly coming from the physical delivery of a part. Employee must be able to navigate through modules and read information as it is needed for a specific task of Fulfillment.
- Packaging, employees must be able to identify what type of packaging is needed for parts, must be able to properly wrap/store parts with packaging at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow.
- Sorting and staging, employees must be able to move packages/boxes/crates/any storage container while its identified and secure to prevent loss within the workflow.
- Labeling and marking, employees must ensure all parts are part-labelled, and have identifiers outlined in the standard operating procedure to analyze parts through the workflow.
- Storage assignment/auditing, employees must properly store and use good judgement along with the standard operating procedure for the storage of parts that could be individual or in bulk.
- Employees must be able to audit per a standard operating procedure.
- 2 years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
- Safety is a top priority it is imperative that the employee strictly adheres to established safety protocols and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions.
- Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.

- Previous certified forklift experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
