A highly respected and growing law firm in Wilmington, North Carolina is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its thriving litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience, work alongside accomplished litigators, and build a long-term career with a firm that values professional development and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Bar License (Required)• 2+ years of legal experience• Experience in Civil Litigation and/or Construction Litigation preferred• Experience in Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, Professional Liability Defense, and/or Construction Defect Litigation is a plus• Deposition and mediation experience preferred• Trial experience is a plus• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities• Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with the team• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

What You'll Do:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters from inception through resolution• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation• Collaborate with clients and attorneys to develop effective case strategies• Gain valuable courtroom and litigation experience
