Job Description
Practice Area: Consumer Protection & Class Action Litigation
A well-established consumer law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with class action experience to join its growing litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact cases involving consumer protection, unfair business practices, and complex class action litigation.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active bar license in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
Prior experience handling or supporting class action litigation
Experience in consumer law matters (e.g., FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, UDAP) strongly preferred
Responsibilities
Draft and argue motions, including motions to dismiss and class certification briefs
Manage discovery in complex, multi-party litigation
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on novel consumer law issues
Assist with or lead depositions and hearings
Support settlement negotiations and mediation efforts
Collaborate with partners and co-counsel in state and federal courts
