A growing, modern litigation firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This is a fully remote position for a motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values ownership over their cases, and wants meaningful responsibility from day one.

The ideal candidate is a strong litigator with experience handling matters from pre-litigation through resolution and is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with partners and senior attorneys.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of real estate and business litigation matters from intake through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memorandaConduct and defend depositions, including parties and expert witnessesParticipate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearingsAssist with litigation strategy and case developmentCommunicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidanceCollaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to move cases efficiently

Required Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the California State BarMinimum of 3 years of litigation experienceExperience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Real estate litigation, HOA disputes, Construction defect, Business or commercial litigationStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage deadlines and handle multiple matters simultaneouslyHigh level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail

Preferred QualificationsCourtroom, hearing, and deposition experienceFamiliarity with HOA-related litigation and the Davis-Stirling ActExperience working in a remote or technology-driven legal environmentPlaintiff-side litigation experience is a plus
