Our team is recognized for handling complex, high-stakes litigation across a variety of industries, with particular strength in construction and insurance defense.   • All associates and staff are paid twice a month on the 15th and last day of the month by direct deposit.
  • Entitled to participate in our firm Bonus Program for Associates. Bonuses are awarded four times a year, with amounts based on hours worked during the previous 3-month period.
  • Firm pays all bar dues and occupation tax for attorneys.
  • Firm pays for 15 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) per year.
  • After 30 days with the firm, you will be eligible to participate in our 401K retirement/investment plan, with a 100% match for contributions up to 3% of salary and 50% match for contributions between 3-5%.

  • The firm provides a $30K life insurance policy at no cost to each employee.
Job DetailsJob Description:* Represent clients in construction and construction defect claims, managing cases from inception through trial or settlement* Provide risk management advice and strategic legal guidance throughout construction projects* Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and clarity* Conduct complex legal research and analysis on construction and construction defect matters* Collaborate with experts, consultants, and other professionals to develop strong case strategies* Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction* Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings* Mentor and support junior attorneys in research, case preparation, and trial strategyQualifications:* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school* Active membership in the Texas Bar, in good standing* 2+ years of litigation experience; prior construction or construction defect litigation experience strongly preferred* Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills* Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team* Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skillsInterested in hearing more?
