The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of construction litigation cases, ranging from initial client consultation to settlement or trial. This position presents a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex construction disputes, providing invaluable support to our clients.   • Manage a diverse case load of construction litigation matters, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are updated regularly.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case progression and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to develop effective defense strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in construction law and insurance defense, applying this knowledge to your work.
Job DetailsQualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state, with a clean disciplinary record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation, with a strong emphasis on Insurance Defense.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for our clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethical judgment and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
