Key Responsibilities

As a Defense Associate Attorney, you will:

Represent clients in complex insurance defense and construction litigation mattersProvide strategic legal counsel on a wide range of litigation issuesDraft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documentsConduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and client positionsCollaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop effective litigation strategiesEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standardsStay current on developments in insurance defense and construction lawParticipate in all phases of litigation, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsQualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive admission to a state bar (California preferred, but not required depending on role)Minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance defense and/or construction litigationProven track record handling complex litigation mattersStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience drafting and arguing motions, and managing case files independentlyExcellent negotiation and advocacy skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environmentStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesWhy Join Us
