Position Overview

Our client, a well-established, collegial general practice law firm in York County, Maine, is seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of litigation and/or transactional real estate experience. Additional experience in corporate law, estate planning, or related practice areas is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in a range of litigation matters, including legal research, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including document preparation and closing support
Support entity formation, contract drafting, and corporate governance matters
Provide practical legal advice and responsive client service across multiple practice areas
Manage multiple active matters and deadlines with appropriate independence and judgment
