Responsibilities

  • Draft, analyze, and manage wage and hourly compliance issues for clients.

  • Maintain and track matter pipelines, deadlines, and task progress in case management system.

  • Conduct legal research on wage-hour statutes, regulations, and case law.

  • Assist in case strategy development and litigation support for wage-hour matters.

  • Support compliance training programs and update internal policies to reflect latest wage-hour changes.

  • Monitor case metrics and prepare performance reports aligned with targets.

  • Prepare pleadings, memoranda, and discovery requests related to wage-hour disputes.

  • Interface with clients to gather facts, provide updates, and manage expectations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risk areas and improve processes.

  • Draft and negotiate settlement agreements and other resolution documents.

  • Support hybrid work schedule while ensuring high visibility and accountability.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor and active bar license; wage-hour specialty preferred.

  • 2+ years experience in wage-and-hour law or labor/employment litigation.

  • Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery for wage-hour disputes.

  • Strong research skills in wage-hour statutes, regulations, and case law.

  • Experience with case management systems; track pipelines, deadlines, and tasks.

  • Ability to analyze metrics, prepare performance reports, and meet targets.

  • Client-facing communication; gather facts, provide updates, and manage expectations.

  • Draft and negotiate settlement agreements; knowledge of wage-hour resolutions.

  • Cross-functional collaboration to identify risk areas and improve processes.

  • Ability to support hybrid work schedule while maintaining high visibility and accountability.
