Job Description

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our software engineering team. Working closely with agile, cross-functional teams, you will design, build, deliver, and maintain resilient, end-to-end applications that power our reinsurance platforms, while receiving the domain training and support needed to learn the business, ramp up quickly, and contribute with confidence.

In this role, you will:

Build and maintain scalable front-end and back-end architectures
Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack
Work alongside senior engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Debug and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
At least 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience preferably within the insurance domain
Strong experience with Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular
Demonstrated knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks
Proven experience with Git or similar source control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex software defects
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-organizational teams
Understand DevOps and Agile methodologies and practices

The pay range for the role is $80,000 to $115,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website.  The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
