Associate Civil Drafter – Oil & Gas Industry [Location] | Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an Associate Civil Drafter to support drafting and surveying operations in the Oil & Gas industry. This entry-to-associate level role focuses on creating accurate technical drawings and plats while learning advanced civil drafting practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to grow, and proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Key Responsibilities Draft and prepare plats, grading plans, alignment sheets, parcel surveys, and as-built drawings. Read and interpret survey data and apply GEO coordinate systems. Maintain accurate project files and documentation. Provide drafting support to senior drafters and project staff. Learn and apply survey laws, methods, and company drafting standards. Accurately track and record work hours using company systems. Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing project needs. Participate in training and mentorship opportunities to expand technical skills. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Civil Drafting & Design (Oil & Gas industry preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required. Knowledge of survey fundamentals, Meridian System, and BLM standards a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs. Willingness to participate in the DISA Compliance & Policy program.
