If you thrive in high impact litigation, believe in standing up for the underdog, and want mentorship that sharpens your edge, then this is where your fight meets its calling!Job DetailsDescription:Our firm is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Associate Litigation Attorney who will be a part of our team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, legal writing, law and motion practice, toxic tort, product liability, pleadings, professional liability, and construction defect. This role demands a self starter who can hit the ground running, managing multiple complex cases while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive compensation package and a collaborative work environment that values each team member's contributions.Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, legal research, drafting and arguing motions, case management, and trial preparation.
• Actively participate in the firm's toxic tort, product liability, professional liability, and construction defect practices.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and file them with the court.
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc).
• Provide advice and counsel to clients regarding legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and opposing counsel.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure effective case management.
• Stay current with latest developments in the law to enhance legal knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing with the Alabama (AL) state bar.
• Proven experience in legal research, legal writing, law and motion practice, toxic tort, product liability, pleadings, professional liability or construction defect.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
