Job Description
- Role: Associate Manager - Data ScienceDescription:Associate Manager Data Science - Design, develop and execute analytics techniques on large, complex, structured and unstructured data sets (including big data) to help clients make better fact-based decisions. You will develop new offerings/solutions to drive client impact by delivering client solutions and shape Indegene s point of view in this space. You will be responsible for applying analytical techniques to model complex business problems, uncovering insights, and identifying opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to lead end to end delivery of Advanced Analytics and Data Science initiatives for enterprise clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project leadership, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate has significant experience managing interdisciplinary data teams, delivering complex analytical solutions, and owning senior level client engagementsResponsibilities:
- Business Insights and Analytics Programs
- Lead the delivery of analytics programs and projects, overseeing project intake, process design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with internal data leads, business operations, and technical development partners to deliver data solution projects within service level agreements.
- Support analytics solution design, KPI development, and perform ad hoc analytics to support priority projects as needed.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Drive consistency and quality across recurring deliverables (monthly reads, campaign analyses)
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for brand, media, and digital stakeholders
- Lead client readouts with clarity, confidence, and structured storytelling
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities
- Build trusted advisor relationships through consistent, high-quality delivery
- Project Management and Monitoring
- Monitor project progress and tracking work activity, resolving issues, publishing status reports, and recommending next steps.
- Proactively identify risks or delays, working with relevant teams to drive resolution and keep projects on track.
- Test & Learn / Experimentation
- Design and evaluate test & control experiments across media and marketing initiatives
- Translate experiment results into business impact (e.g., script lift, patient starts, engagement)
- Partner with data science teams to ensure methodological rigor and scalability
- About You (Desired Profile):
- You have 8-10 years of core experience in Data Science / Statistics, ideally within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry, with deep expertise in campaign performance measurement.
- You have hands-on experience designing and interpreting: A/B tests, matched market tests and incrementality studies
- You are skilled at translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications for database delivery teams.
- You possess exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts into clear, actionable plans.
- You are adept at building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment toward shared objectives.
- You have a consultative approach, with the ability to ask probing questions, identify gaps, and guide teams toward effective solutions.
- You are highly organized, with strong planning, time management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- You have hands-on experience with project management tools like JIRA and a strong understanding of analytics workflows and data solution design.
- You hold a bachelor s degree in business, data science, analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
