Overview
The Associate Product Manager will be involved in product planning, market research, project coordination, customer-focused thinking, and product support material. This role will work with teams across the business to help create products and experiences that meet customer needs and support business growth. Success in this role requires strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple product developments.
Responsibilities
- Help plan and support new product launches from concept through production.
- Develop and oversee product planning sheets, coordinating specifications, strategies, timelines, and target costs.
- Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly product information, user and installation guides, customer-facing content, and other product materials.
- Research market trends, customer needs, and competing products to support business decisions.
- Coordinate product schedules, timelines, specifications, and project requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Review product features and customer experiences and recommend improvements when needed.
- Monitor project progress and help ensure key milestones are completed on time.
- Participate in product review meetings and collaborate with sales, design center, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Help evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for future growth and innovation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, finance, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience writing customer-facing or business documentation.
- Prefer experience supporting product development, engineering, business analysis, communications, or related work preferred.
- Foreign language skills are a plus but not required.
- Some travel may be required.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office environment with in-person attendance required. Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards in close proximity to others. Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items up to 40 pounds.
