NYC Alliance Company LLC, a leading multi-channel apparel company, is seeking an experienced and innovative Associate Sweater Designer to join our dynamic private label team. In this role, you will, drive seasonal sweater concepts from inspiration through execution for various private label accounts. You will combine a strong understanding of market trends, customer insights, and technical expertise to create commercially successful collections. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative, collaborative designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about bringing compelling products to market.
Responsibilities
- Create design concepts, ensuring they align with the company's brand identity and market trends
- Collaborate closely with the product development and sales teams to translate design concepts into commercially viable products
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis
- Create detailed technical sketches, specifications, and design presentations
- Manage the entire design process, from initial concept development to final production
- Ensure all designs adhere to quality and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- In-depth understanding of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for color, composition, and overall design aesthetics
