Main Responsibilities:
Training
- Assists with New Hire Training
- Executes follow-up trainingImplements and trains new procedures
- Ensures training procedures are followed
- Ensures proper documentation is maintained
Project Work: Supports Production Manager in project work such as:
- Waste Control
- Continuous Improvement
- Real-time interaction with production floor by using MES/IT Systems
Daily Tasks
- Checks packaging area
- Coordinates label printing
- Updates and posts graphs for daily walk through
- Checks if all devices are up-to-date and functional
Planning
- Compiles daily production plan together with Planner
- Ensures all machine change-overs are performed in timely manner
Back up For
- Production Manager and Production Supervisors
- Quality Assurance
- Planning
- Coordination of all assigned activities during time of replacement
Troubleshooting
- Tracks and resolves production issues
- Escalates critical process problems to Production ManagerPerformance Measurements:
- Achievement of Production goals
- Employees following procedures
- Meet project deadlines
- High level of Acceptance Rate of Notes System
- All devices are connected and fulfill required standards of Regional OPEX/IT
- Proper documentation of production issues
Education/Experience:
- Min. High School Diploma, 4-year degree preferred
- 2 to 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within Plastics Industry
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
- Leadership Skills
- Technical understanding (Manufacturing and IT)
- Strong knowledge sharing/training skills
Physical Demands:
It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA). #salaried
