Job Description
Our client, a regional CPA/Advisory firm, is seeking to add an Assurance & Risk Advisory Senior to their growing team. The firm offers a great work environment with an excellent path for career growth, advancement, and the opportunity to make an impact on the firm, client, and community.This is a hybrid role local to SE Michigan.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide innovative risk solutions to clients in a variety of industries
- Collaborating with client personnel and other professionals to design new business processes, internal controls, project plans, working papers, and make improvement recommendations
- Performing internal control assessments of management
- Interviewing clients, examining evidence documentation, analyzing and performing substantive testing of financial data
- Building relationships both internally and externally
- Contributing to the success of our clients organizations
- Developing staff associates and interns
- 3-5 years of relevant assurance experience in public accounting or industry.
- CPA certification or progress towards the CPA exam.
- SOX experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Outstanding client service and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for helping others be successful.
