This role offers strong opportunities for technical growth, hands-on client interaction, and advancement within the assurance practice.Essential Functions:● Prepare for audits, including trial balance and lead sheet setup, creating schedules, analyzing spreadsheets, and verifying accuracy of client accounting records.● Maintain financial updates and gain an understanding of client business operations.● Meet budget and realization goals and support staff in meeting theirs.● Identify client issues and clarify service responsibilities during engagements.● Participate in staff and intern recruiting activities.● Monitor professional developments and research technical accounting issues.● Identify and communicate problem areas and propose solutions to managers and partners.● Offer value-added suggestions during audits and reviews.● Meet assigned chargeable hour goals.● Participate in internal training as appropriate.● Work toward completing the CPA exam if not already achieved.Position Requirements:● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.● CPA license strongly preferred.● Two to five years of public accounting experience preferred.● Strong knowledge of basic accounting procedures and GAAP.● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask.● Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
