Provide legal representation to clients in insurance defense matters, including bad faith claims and personal injury cases.
Draft, review, and interpret insurance policies and provide legal opinions on coverage issues.
Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
Use legal software to manage case files, conduct legal research, and prepare legal documents.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and advise them on the legal implications of the settlement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, specifically in the areas of bad faith claims and personal injury. Trial experience preferred.
Extensive experience in drafting and interpreting insurance policies, and providing legal opinions on coverage issues.
Proficiency in using legal software for case management, legal research, and document preparation.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, other attorneys, and court personnel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
