What You’ll Do

• Handle contract disputes, provider litigation, and overpayment recovery.
• Conduct detailed claims analysis across large datasets.
• Perform legal research and draft motions to compel and dismiss.
• Handle extensive discovery.
• Manage a large docket of 200+ active cases with a high level of responsiveness.
• Assist with arbitration preparation and behind-the-scenes legal work.

What They’re Looking For

• The top priorities are strong professional judgment, work ethic, and dependability. You should have strong legal writing skills and the ability to bill time.
• Defense-side litigation experience, including insurance defense or medical malpractice, is preferred. Plaintiff-side, workers’ compensation, and lemon law backgrounds are not the target profile.
• You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, getting granular with research and case analysis, and learning healthcare-specific subject matter.

Compensation & Bonus

• $125,000–$180,000+ base salary DOE
• $10,000 bonus at 2,000 billable hours
• Additional $10,000 for every 100 hours thereafter
• 1,800 annual billable-hour requirement

Work Arrangement

• 100% remote, with candidates required to remain in the same time zone. The team is open to 2–3 annual team lunches and a holiday party.
