The Practice

Attorneys work within tight-knit teams that typically include a senior attorney, an associate, and a paralegal. This structure encourages collaboration, thoughtful strategy, and strong client relationships. The practice is dedicated exclusively to family law and is known for handling sensitive, high-conflict matters with discretion and skill across Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex family law matters from intake through resolution
• Serve as lead counsel in trials, evidentiary hearings, and contested proceedings
• Appear regularly in Orange County courts, including Santa Ana
• Prepare and argue motions and handle discovery and depositions
• Lead mediations and settlement conferences
• Develop a case strategy for financially sophisticated divorces
• Advise clients on risks, options, and long-term outcomes
• Supervise and mentor associates, paralegals, and support staff
• Review and oversee work product to ensure accuracy and deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range of $140,000 to $220,000, depending on background
• Additional bonus compensation for exceeding billable expectations

Work Structure

• Hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration and court appearances
• Regular court attendance, typically two to three days per week

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• Substantial family law litigation and trial experience
• Confidence handling matters through trial and verdict
• Experience with complex financial issues, business valuation, and forensic accounting
• Comfort leading a team and managing high-level client relationships
• CFLS certification is welcomed and may be supported
