Job Description

Our partner is looking for Attorneys in Media, PA. This growing elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning practice is expanding and is hiring for two roles: an Associate Attorney and a Supervising Attorney. The practice goes beyond a traditional trusts and estates focus — the team handles sophisticated estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, guardianships, estate and trust administration, and long-term care planning. Attorneys work side by side with elder care coordinators, social workers, public benefits specialists, paralegals, and other legal professionals, because supporting families through aging and disability takes more than legal documents alone.

Two paths are available:

  • Associate Attorney — suited to an attorney earlier in their elder law career who brings strong judgment and a commitment to learning quickly, building core expertise under direct mentorship while carrying real client responsibility from day one.
  • Supervising Attorney — suited to an established elder law or estate planning attorney ready to lead sophisticated matters independently, mentor other attorneys and staff, and help shape the future of the practice.

For both roles, curiosity, judgment, intellectual rigor, and leadership capability matter as much as years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sophisticated estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, guardianships, estate and trust administration, and long-term care planning matters
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including elder care coordinators, social workers, public benefits specialists, and paralegals
  • Associate Attorney: build core legal expertise under direct mentorship while managing real client matters from day one
  • Supervising Attorney: lead sophisticated legal matters independently and mentor junior attorneys and staff
  • Supervising Attorney: help shape the strategic direction and growth of the practice
  • Contribute to professional development through writing, teaching, presenting, and building a broader reputation within the elder law field

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license (required for both roles)
  • Associate Attorney: experience in elder law, estate planning, estate and trust administration, special needs planning, or a related practice area, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
  • Supervising Attorney: established track record independently handling sophisticated elder law and estate planning matters, with experience mentoring or supervising attorneys or staff
  • Strong analytical, writing, and client communication skills
  • Strong judgment, intellectual rigor, curiosity, and leadership capability
  • Ability to work full-time, in person, at the Media, Pennsylvania office

Benefits

  • Direct mentorship from nationally recognized elder law attorneys, including a Certified Elder Law Attorney and ACTEC Fellow
  • A structured professional development path
  • Opportunities to write, teach, present, and build a professional reputation within the field
  • A collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
  • Access to innovative technology and AI tools supporting the practice
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and demonstrated ability; a signing bonus and performance incentives may be available for the right candidate
