You will be responsible for ...
- Lead or assist with audit and review engagements for non-profit organizations.
- Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client operations, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the year.
- Identify engagement risks, resolve issues, and communicate findings to firm leadership.
- Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and client deliverables.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and seniors.
- Assist with engagement budgeting, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Participate in business development and networking activities to support practice growth.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
You will need the following based on your experience level ...
Audit Senior
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of public accounting audit experience.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
- Experience auditing non-profit organizations strongly preferred.
Audit Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with significant non-profit audit experience.
- Active CPA license required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and lead client relationships.
Skills you will need to be successful...
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Experience with non-profit financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop staff while maintaining exceptional client service.
