Job Description

Our client, a privately owned company in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Staff Accountant

Tax preparation (corporate, individual, partnerships, estate/trust, non-profit)
Preparation of compilations and reviews, inclusive of preparing workpapers and financial statements
Identifying and resolving client issues
Main point of contact for basic client questions and information
Ensure client satisfaction and managing deadlines

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of the Staff Accountant

3+ years of Accounting experience
CPA highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
