Job Description
Crest Acura and Cadillac are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician / Collision Repair Technician to join our growing collision repair team in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled body tech who takes pride in quality repairs and wants to work in a professional dealership environment with consistent workflow.
If you have experience with collision repair, frame repair, body panel replacement, and OEM repair procedures, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As an Auto Body Technician, you will perform a wide range of collision repairs and body work including:
- Perform collision repair and auto body repairs on damaged vehicles
- Repair or replace body panels, bumpers, fenders, doors, and structural components
- Perform frame straightening and unibody repairs using frame machines and measuring equipment
- Conduct panel alignment, metal finishing, and body filler work
- Prepare vehicles for painting including sanding, grinding, masking, and priming
- Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Work closely with estimators, painters, and service advisors to ensure efficient repairs
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Requirements
We’re looking for technicians with strong collision repair experience.
- 2+ year’s experience as an Auto Body Technician, Body Tech, or Collision Repair Technician
- Experience with frame machines, welding equipment, and body repair tools
- Knowledge of modern vehicle construction including aluminum and high-strength steel preferred
- Ability to read and follow repair estimates and OEM repair procedures
- I-CAR training or certifications are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs
- Valid driver's license
