Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace worn or defective parts such as brakes, engines, and transmissions.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and costs.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of diverse vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and computerized tools to troubleshoot issues.
Strong mechanical aptitude with technical expertise.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in automotive repair is preferred.
