Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team at Universal Motorcars. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Keep accurate records of repair work and maintenance performed.
Work closely with service advisors and other team members to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
ASE certification or equivalent mechanical certification preferred.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical vocational training is a plus.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
