Since 1999, Wastler Auto Service has been the go-to repair and inspection center for drivers in the Taylorsville/Mt. Airy/Eldersburg area. We’ve built our reputation on trust, top-quality repairs, and honest service—and we’re proud of it. Our modern, state-of-the-art shop gives technicians the tools, technology, and support they need to do their best work.
Now, we’re growing and looking for a skilled Auto Technician to join our family-oriented team.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs across cars, light trucks, medium-duty, and even RVs.
- Handle routine maintenance like oil changes, brakes, tires, and more.
- Maintain precise inspection and repair records.
- Work alongside a team that values skill, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay sharp with ongoing access to the latest tools, equipment, and training.
- (Optional) Perform Maryland State Vehicle Inspections if licensed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician (auto, truck, or diesel).
- ASE certifications preferred (but not required).
- Maryland State Inspector license a strong plus—if you don’t have it, we’ll help you get it.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills across different makes and models.
- Attention to detail + commitment to high-quality work.
- Professional, customer-friendly communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
