What You’ll Do

• Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Address patients’ and families’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in alignment with your scope of practice.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and/or caregivers.
• Delegate and make appropriate assignments to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation.
• Demonstrate expectations aligned with OneCHRISTUS Competencies (Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders).

What You NeedRequired

• BLS certification from AHA
• RN License in the state of employment or a compact license

Preferred

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
