Job Description

  • Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS Certification required
  • Minimum of 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in medical/surgical units
  • Strong knowledge of patient care procedures and safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to patients’ developmental needs
  • Ability to handle emergency/crisis situations
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, transfer patients, and perform manual tasks
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with specialized patient populations or additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
  • Previous experience in hospital or acute care settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Proven track record in medical or surgical nursing for at least 2 years
Other Requirements:
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Valid New Mexico RN license or an active Compact state license
  • Willingness to start ASAP with a scheduled shift from 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Ability to work in a clean, well-lighted, and ventilated environment, adhering to safety protocols
