What You’ll Do
  • Provide routine and complex nursing care to medical/surgical patients
  • Administer medications and treatments following protocols
  • Monitor patient responses and document clinical information accurately
  • Assess patient needs, educate patients and families, and support emotional and social well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float across units as needed
  • Demonstrate independence and critical thinking aligned with professional standards
What You Need
  • RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact license
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and fulfill floating requirements
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
About the Assignment This is a 12-week travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Santa Fe, NM, covering Medical and Surgical units. The facility emphasizes providing quality patient-centered care, with nurses playing a vital role in managing patient needs, coordinating treatments, and supporting families.
