Automation Engineer – Manufacturing
The Automation Engineer wil support a high volume raw materials manufacturing operation in Alabama. This role focuses on improving plant efficiency through PLC programming, automation design, system integration, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize automated manufacturing systems
- Program and troubleshoot PLC and control systems
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment
- Improve process efficiency and system reliability
- Collaborate with cross functional engineering and operations teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing
- Strong PLC, electrical systems, and automation background (Prefer Allen Bradley and Siemens)
- Problem solving mindset and hands on troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
