Additional Details for Role: QA Automation Test Lead Onsite from nearest Deloitte Office Pay range - $50-55/hour on W2 6+ monthsRole Summary Seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to own test strategy, automation framework development, and quality delivery across data, API, and UI layers at Edward Jones. The candidate will bring deep automation expertise and the ability to integrate quality engineering into CI/CD pipelines.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD, and Serenity• Build and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured• Perform data validation, SQL-based testing, and data pipeline quality checks• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing• Test Data Platform, MDM, data pipelines, ETL processes, and Data APIs• Conduct various test types — unit, integration, API, smoke, system, and performance testing• Manage test data, test planning, and test execution across complex data and cloud environments• Work with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, and ETL tools• Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve testing efficiency• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product owners in an agile teamSkills & Experience Required• Strong proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Serenity, and Java• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured• Proficient in SQL queries and data validation across relational databases• Experience with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and in-sprint test automation• Working knowledge of Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) is a plus• Experience working in agile delivery teams• Experience with Selenium & Java and testing APIs using Rest Assured• Experience in Data Platform, MDM, Data pipelines, ETL data processing and Data APIs• Proficient in SQL Queries and data creation/validation• Experience in Azure and/or AWS ecosystems desired• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, in-sprint test automation and CI integration• Working knowledge and extensive experience in various types of testing (Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, Performance, etc.) is required• Working knowledge of test planning, test data management, automated & manual test execution, and test management tools to support complex data and cloud landscape• Working knowledge with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, ETL tools and data warehouse architectures highly preferred• Working knowledge of QA methodologies, lifecycle and processesKey Skillsets• 7+ years of experience as an automation engineer• Solid experience using Selenium, cucumber, serenity• 7+ experience with Java or Design, code, test, deploy and maintain automation solutions• Experience working in an Agile environment• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams• Support the Chapter Leads on delivering on QE strategy• Assist with test coordination between Portfolio/Product teams• Assess & evolve the automation strategy• Partner with delivery teams to enable QE metric reporting• Support Chapter Lead on compiling QE metrics• Facilitate the implementation and delivery of the automation strategy• Lead the automation engineers (Repository reviews, mentoring and aligning the automation architecture with the product team strategy) Note: Candidates will be evaluated on hands-on automation framework experience. AI tool exposure (GitHub Copilot, Claude) is increasingly expected.
