The Opportunity

A fast-growing automotive group is expanding and looking for a strong, hands-on A Level Technician with Management Opportunity to lead a high-performance team in Gallup, NM.

These shops are busy, modern, and well-equipped. This role is ideal for an A-level technician who enjoys complex diagnostics and is ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role where they can directly impact production, culture, and growth.

What You’ll Do

Perform diagnostics and repairs approximately 30% of the time
Drive consistent production through coaching, accountability, and leadership
Mentor technicians and help elevate overall shop performance
Collaborate with a motivated, professional team
Write estimates and order parts
Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency
Help shape the culture of a forward-thinking automotive group

What It Takes

5–7 years of experience as a diagnostic or master-level technician
5+ years of automotive management experience
Strong problem-solving mindset with pride in efficiency and quality
Fair diesel skill level is acceptable (no cab-off work required)
Leadership mindset with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate

Compensation & Benefits

Target Earnings: $120k (based on gross profit and efficiency)
Base Pay: $108k
