Hendrick Automotive Group is hiring an Aftermarket Product Specialist to join our Kansas City Consolidated Accounting Office in Overland Park, Kansas. Summary: Responsible for accurately preparing, maintaining, transmitting, and posting aftermarket product in a timely manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous Accounting experience in a high volume environment desired. Strong organizational skills required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Review and correct schedules
- Process cancellations
- Post ACH payments received
- Verify cancellation forms are accurate and completely filled out to include customer/dealer signature and refund to section.
- Distribute refunds accordingly (ex. cut checks, down payment JE).
- Send cancellation request for processing.
- Verify monthly cancellation payments received
- Post monthly cancellation payments, upon receipt from accounting manager via bank reconciliation.
- Manage/clear cancellation schedules for each store.
- Provide notes for any issues that need attention from the dealership management and give to the accounting manager for weekly review in debriefs.
- Build relationships and communication with dealership personnel, accounting managers and HAG.
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
- Participates in required training
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
- Complies with Company policies and procedures
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned
