Accounting Manager – Honda North 

A well-established and growing automotive dealership in Danvers, MA is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager with dealership experience to help lead day-to-day accounting operations. This role works closely with the Controller and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting office staff, and ensuring compliance across dealership transactions.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily office and accounting operations to ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time
• Partnering with the Controller on core accounting functions and financial reporting support
• Managing and reconciling schedules, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries and maintaining general ledger integrity
• Supervising cashiering, deal posting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and title processing
• Monitoring reserve accounts and schedule clean-up processes
• Training, mentoring, and supporting accounting office staff
• Maintaining internal controls and ensuring adherence to dealership policies
• Serving as a liaison between the accounting department and other dealership teams

Requirements:

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience is required
• Strong working knowledge of schedules, reserves, and general ledger processes
• Experience with dealership management systems such as Reynolds (preferred not required)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and develop a team
• Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements
