Automotive Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented Automotive Designer Engineer You will lead the design and development of automotive plastic injection components, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable solutions following industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to define design specifications and support all stages of product development. Create and refine 2D/3D CAD models using Catia V5 / 3DExperience (V6), including surfacing, solid modeling, wireframes, and section views. Prepare, develop, and release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Coordinate design reviews, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting. Participate in customer meetings and maintain effective communication with suppliers. Provide support for prototype builds and ensure timely delivery to the customer. Support APQP activities and maintain compliance with relevant standards (e.g., J-SOX, TS16949, ISO 14001). Requirements Prior experience working with Automotive OEMs is highly desirable. Hands-on experience in plastic injection part design using 3D CAD tools is a strong plus. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
