Job Description

MrKitt’s Service Center & Towing is looking for motivated Automotive Light Service Drivers who take pride in helping people, working independently, and representing a respected brand built on professionalism, urgency, and customer service.
This is not just another driving job. We are looking for individuals who can think fast, work safely, communicate professionally, and deliver excellent service during stressful roadside situations.

Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly and safely to roadside assistance calls throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Perform light roadside services including:
- Battery jump starts.
- Tire changes and inflations.
- Vehicle lockouts.
- Fuel delivery.
- Minor roadside assistance services.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and customers professionally at all times.
- Safely operate company vehicles and roadside service equipment.
- Complete all paperwork, service documentation, and job updates accurately.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment, tools, and service vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No major violations, DUI offenses, suspensions, or preventable accidents within the past 5 years.
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic automotive knowledge and experience using hand tools required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous roadside assistance, towing, automotive, or fleet service experience.
- DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
- Familiarity with Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Experience working in fast-paced service environments.
