Automotive Porter/Driver

Job Summary 

Porterswill be responsible for transporting vehicles, tools,parts,and equipment to necessary locations. This is an entry level position withanopportunity to grow into other roles. 

Compensation

• Up to $20.00 per hour

Role and Responsibilities

• Customer service oriented 

• Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity

• Test drive vehicles after repair and/or ADAS calibrations

• Transport vehicles, tools, and/or customers as needed during repair process

• Vehicleclean up may be required 

• Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership

Qualifications, Education & Experience: 

• Desire to learn a skilled trade 

• High school diploma or tech school graduate

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices,and related technology efficiently

• Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customerfocused vision

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check

• Ability to pass abackground check

• Must be able to lift60 pounds independently

• Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training 

• Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping

• Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles 

• Extensive travel within assigned areais expected

• May have exposure to fumes, dust,and chemicals 

• Ability to work in a shop environmentin inclement weather

• Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
