- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a wide range of vehicles.
- Perform thorough inspections to help our service advisor team explain the work that needs to be done on the car to help maximize profits
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards
- Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard and on schedule
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- Contribute to a positive team environment and shop culture by collaborating with colleagues
- ASE Certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Proficiency with digital tools, diagnostic software, and general computer skills
- Knowledge of and experience with shop management software
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with service advisors and customers
