Job Description
Delray Buick GMC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Delray Beach, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing customer relationships, and ensuring an exceptional buying experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a proven track record of success in sales management.
We are NOT looking for a "Desk Manager", we are looking for an active, engaged Sales Leader - no office dwellers. If you do not have OEM Dealership experience, please do not apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and dealership goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments such as finance, service, and marketing to ensure smooth dealership operations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor new sales staff to build a high-performing sales team.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive decision-making.
- Customer-oriented approach with strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of automotive products, financing options, and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to work in Delray Beach, FL.
