Position Summary
Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a high-volume, fleet-focused repair facility in Cumberland, RI. This is a great opportunity for an advisor who understands both automotive and diesel service, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and wants strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and assess automotive and diesel service needs
Create accurate estimates and repair orders using shop management software
Source automotive and diesel parts efficiently and cost-effectively
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations
Coordinate with technicians and foremen to ensure smooth workflow
Manage multiple jobs in a high-volume environment (100–150 vehicles weekly)
Maintain detailed records and ensure proper documentation of all services
Build trust with customers through honesty, transparency, and follow-through
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor
Strong knowledge of automotive and diesel systems and repair processes
Experience sourcing parts and building estimates
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume shop environment
Strong communication, organization, and sales skills
Honest, dependable, and customer-focused mindset
Valid driver’s license required
Compensation & Benefits
Annual earnings: $60,000 – $120,000+ depending on experience and performance
