Job Description

Location: Savoy, IL 61874 (1402–1404 N Dunlap Ave & 100 Burwash Ave campus)

Pay: Flat rate: $52,000–$200,000 per year

Job type: Full-time, flat rate

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with Saturdays on rotation

About the role

We're looking for a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair our customers' vehicles. You'll work in a clean shop with a family-owned team, with training and room to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance according to the repair order (RO)
  • Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
  • Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic equipment
  • Communicate repair needs and estimates to Service Advisors
  • Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Keep your work area clean and protect customers' vehicles

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of experience as a technician
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer, reading, and math skills
  • Willingness to learn new technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable
  • Valid driver's license
  • ASE certification preferred, not required
