A Level Automotive Technician – Up to $50/hr – No Weekends
Location: Maumee, OHSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PMPay Range: $31.00 - $50.00 HOURLY (Depending on Experience)
6+ Years of Professional Shop Experience Required
Position Summary
Promotive is hiring experienced Automotive Technician (A++ Level) for a well-established, family-owned shop in Maumee, OH. This is a rare opportunity to join a shop with over 50 years of community trust, strong car count, and a reputation for solving the tough jobs other shops can’t.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models (foreign and domestic) - extensive diagnostic stills required
- Handle complex drivability and electrical issues — not just parts replacement
- Complete brake, suspension, A/C, and drivetrain repairs
- Utilize modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment (fully provided)
- Accurately document findings and recommended repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as an automotive technician (A Tech level)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills — ability to work independently
- ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own tools required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate shop equipment
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
