Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced B Level Automotive Technician for a highly respected independent repair shop in Timonium, MD. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
• Perform drivability, suspension, steering, and check engine light diagnostics
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs
• Perform timing belt and timing chain repairs
• Conduct alignments and suspension diagnostics
• Utilize scan tools and digital vehicle inspection software effectively
• Communicate repair findings clearly with service advisors and teammates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience in a professional shop
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with suspension, steering, alignments (not just toe-and-go alignments), and drivability concerns
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Maryland State Inspection License REQUIRED
• ADAS experience is a plus or willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
