B+ Level Automotive Technician – Hourly $25–$32/hr – No Weekends
Location: Suffield, CTSchedule: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–4:30pmPay Range: $25–$32/per hour HOURLY PAY (based on experience)
Position Summary
Promotive is hiring a skilled Automotive Technician (B+ Level) for a well-established, family-owned shop in Suffield, CT. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity with no weekends, steady car count, and a supportive, tight-knit team environment. If you’re a technician who enjoys a mix of maintenance, repair, and light diagnostics—and values strong communication and organization—this is a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform light diagnostics and repairs on a variety of domestic, Asian, and light European vehicles
- Complete brake, steering, and suspension repairs with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance services including fluid services and tune-ups
- Assist with light diagnostic work using modern scan tools
- Maintain detailed and organized repair notes and documentation
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Keep a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience as an automotive technician (B+ Level preferred)
- Strong skills in brakes, suspension, and general mechanical repairs
- Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with strong organizational habits
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $25–$32/hr depending on experience
- Monday–Friday schedule – no weekends
- Paid holidays (6 major holidays)
