AWS D1.1 Structural WelderPay:$24.00 $28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)Location:Sapulpa, OK 74066Shift:Monday Friday | 5: 00 AM 3: 30 PMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125716Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced AWS D1.1 Structural Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Sapulpa. This position is responsible for performing structural steel welding in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards while maintaining exceptional quality, productivity, and safety throughout the fabrication process.The ideal candidate has structural steel welding experience, can interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols, and consistently produces quality welds that meet AWS specifications.Weld Test RequirementsCandidates must successfully pass a practical weld test demonstrating the ability to perform structural welds that meet AWS D1.1 quality standards.Required Experience & Skills Structural steel welding experience required Ability to successfully pass a weld test Current or previous AWS D1.1 welding qualification preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings Knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding procedures and safety practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform structural steel welding using SMAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW processes Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings Complete groove and fillet welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 specifications Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and code compliance Operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Maintain production schedules while producing quality workmanship Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies, AWS standards, and OSHA regulations Assist with additional fabrication and welding duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications Current AWS D1.1 certification Multiple welding process certifications Fitting and fabrication experience Experience working in structural steel fabrication shops or construction environmentsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift Comfortable working in a fabrication or industrial environment while wearing required PPE Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipmentWork Environment Industrial structural steel fabrication facility Fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality and safety Team-oriented workplace with opportunities for long-term employment Consistent first-shift schedule with overtime opportunities as production requiresWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work on AWS D1.1 structural steel projects Stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for career advancement Supportive team focused on craftsmanship, safety, and professional growthReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
