Are you a skilled Cloud Systems Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Join the Arizona Medical Board's dedicated IT team and be instrumental in managing our cloud infrastructure. Located in the vibrant city of Phoenix, AZ, this role offers a dynamic work environment with a hybrid setup, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds. Embrace the chance to leverage Microsoft Azure to support critical state agency operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous monitoring of Microsoft Azure Solutions.
Manage major Azure environment services, including compute, storage, networking, and security frameworks.
Serve as Tier 2 Support for general desktop support issues and create knowledge transfer documentation.
Administer core infrastructure components such as DNS, Domain Controllers, and Azure Active Directory.
Maintain Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including SQL databases and Web App service plans.
Utilize Azure monitoring tools to maintain system health and security oversight.
Manage endpoint security and device compliance using Microsoft Intune and MDM solutions.
Automate administrative tasks and manage certificate life cycles and recovery vaults.
Lead proactive vulnerability remediation efforts to ensure the security and integrity of all systems.

Requirements

Experience with Azure Cloud.
Tier 2 Support for general desktop support issues.
Knowledge of Domain Name System (DNS).

Preferences

Experience with Intune.
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Proficiency with Azure monitoring tools like Workspace Analytics.

This is a contract-to-hire position, and all candidates must be eligible to convert to a full-time employee. We cannot sponsor visas. Local candidates only, with initial onsite work required for the first 2-3 months.
