Azure Tech Lead

Locations: Camas, WA. Plano, TX or Tampa, FL

Full-Time

Job Summary:We’re seeking an Azure Technical Lead to guide a team of cloud engineers and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our Azure cloud environment. This role is hands‑on and responsible for mentoring engineers, improving cloud processes, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support a team of cloud engineers.
Oversee Azure resource deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
Drive incident response, root‑cause analysis, and cloud reliability improvements.
Design scalable cloud infrastructure and automate routine tasks.
Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure security compliance.
Collaborate with architects to align solutions with best practices.
Identify process improvements and adopt new Azure tools/features.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years in IT infrastructure with strong Azure expertise.
5+ years working with Azure IaaS/PaaS.
4+ years with Terraform and CI/CD automation.
Experience with Azure security, governance, and networking.
Scripting/automation experience + Windows/Linux skills.
Knowledge of config management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Kubernetes experience is a plus.
