Job Description
Schedule Available:Full-time and Part-time positions available. Our center is open 6:30am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. If you have any special accommodations that will need to be worked around it is required to let us know immediately.
Qualifications:
- Pass a Level II / DCF background screening.
- Must work the same hour Mon. thru Fri.
- Being willing to start the 45 hours of state-mandated training and complete it within 1 year of hire date.
- Have a completed physical or a negative TB test completed upon starting (every 2 years).
- CPR and 1st aid certication completed within 90 days of employment and keep up to date.
- Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Stay positive.
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, parents and students.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work the same schedule hours every day (Monday-Friday) and be reliable.
- Be able to move around the majority of the day.
- Perform all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs.
- Be able to sit on the oor with the children with the agility to change position quickly.
- Be exible and willing to work as a team.
- Maintain safe, tidy and sanitized classroom environments.
- Effective communication between fellow staff members and also parents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides meaningful and enriching experiences for children aligned with their developmental milestones
- Works together with a team of enthusiastic individuals dedicated to providing high quality education
- Works with small groups of children of varying abilities and interests
- Supports teachers in keeping the classroom clean and organized
- Creates and maintains positive relationships with children and families
- Support teachers with the day to day tasks of the classroom
Wage:Determined by certifications held, degree(s) eared and years of experience.
